Trying to think of a healthy alternative to that roll, bap or cold plastic sandwich? Well look no further than this incredibly simple nutritious green bundle of protein packed joy.
Full Green Cabbage
6 Large Chicken Fillets
Green, Red, Yellow Peppers
Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Himalayan Pink Salt, Black Pepper, Cayenne Pepper, Chilli Flakes, Garlic Powder
Whole Cheese, Natural Yogurt, Red Onion, Cucumber, Chilli, Beetroot
Pre-heat oven to gas mark 6. While waiting for oven to heat place chicken fillets onto oven tray and drizzle with Extra virgin Olive Oil and season on both sides with pink salt, black & cayenne pepper, chilli flakes and garlic powder. Place into middle of oven for 25-35 minutes depending on size, turning over half way through.
While fillets are in oven. Boil a kettle. Grab a large pot. Take the end off of the green cabbage and separate into large leafs. Place water into pot, add a dash of pink salt and bring water to a simmer. Place leafs into pot. Leave to cook for about 5-8 mins max. You don't want the water to change colour, you want them to retain their shape and be manageable and not bleed out all the nutrients.(by over cooking).
While cabbage is cooking chop up all your peppers and tomatoes and cook your rice(microwave,boil,steam etc)
Drain the cabbage leaves. Place a fillet, some rice and veg (and any optional extras) into each leaf and wrap together.
