What started as a challenge to raise awareness and spread good news stories regarding cancer turned into an overwhelming movement that gained tremendous momentum as December rolled around.
The final tally was a staggering €91,000 raised. The entire community at FFS would like to say a huge THANK YOU to all who took part, supported, shared their stories and helped make the FFS stand up to cancer event such a resounding success.

FFS HEALTHY HOUSE BRUNCH EVENT
Tag rugby plays a huge part every year in our community calendar at FFS. In April 2016 we travelled to London to play in our very first overseas tournament. In what was a level above what were used to play in our Wednesday social league we gave a very solid account of ourselves which led to a narrow defeat in the plate semi final. We went on to have a nice quiet night in front of the fire......
Do you remember the last time you did a burpee in a nightclub on the dance floor? We do!! Last year we teamed up with House Bar & Nightclub on Leeson Street and had the pleasure of taking 40 brave souls through a Met Con in their underground nightclub.
This intense workout was followed by a delicious healthy brunch and nutrition Q&A with our Head S&C Coach, Ciaran Ruddock. For more crazy events like this, make sure you keep an eye out for our community newsletter and our social media pages!
